Last week a young University Engineering student, from my daily class of fifty students here in Saudi Arabia, posted some very positive words about my work.
“You are actually an amazing teacher .
I am so happy that you teach me .
I recommend for everybody (who) wants to improve his/her English just come to Dammam university because he is a teacher there . He always gives us writing and a lot of home work.
I am going to be a native speaker at the end of this year with this teacher .
I am so lucky . If you cannot come to Damamam university just (make) contact with MY BEST TEACHER MO RIDDIFORD and he will help you a lot . I HOPE YOU IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH.” (spelling slightly corrected)
Thanks Husen for your kind words.
And no, Husen, I will NOT give you a better mark in the exam!
For me the most important sentence in this testimonial says: “I am going to be a native speaker at the end of this year with this teacher.”
In short, he believes our work together guarantees his own personal goal of being a native speaker within a year. He can now trust his own personal confidence and his own obvious ambition.
- Decide on your own real and authentic goal
- Find a mentor or a teacher or a coach, to keep giving you back your own confidence in that goal
- Go for it!
Wishing you your own authentic confidence in communication in this one global world
